What is your organization’s mission?

Intellectual Philanthropy (IP) is a nonprofit organization that provides the much-needed support for an underserved community of artists who represent the best and brightest next generation of storytellers.

Where does the money go when I donate to your organization?

Donations to IP will go to funding the costs of internship, mentorship and the administration and operation of two workshops (NY & LA) for recent graduates of the Performing Arts nationwide.

Who runs the organization?

IP is run by its Founder & President, Steve Scarduzio, and Vice-President, Greg Lites, who have a combined 60+ years of experience in the entertainment industry. (Their bios can be found in the ‘About Us’ section of the website, ip4charity.org)

What are IP’s qualifications for graduate students of the Performing Arts?

The first step is to fill out the Pre-Qualifying Application on the website, ip4charity.org. Upon submitting the application, an IP representative will contact you for next steps.

What do I need in order to claim an IP charitable contribution deduction?

When you make a donation to IP, you will immediately receive a tax donation receipt via email. Forward this receipt to your tax accountant to receive the maximum tax benefits.

IP is a public charity whose financial support comes from individuals, government grants, and other nonprofits.
